The5ers rules change from one program to the next. The 5%ers (The5ers) runs four CFD programs, High Stakes, Hyper Growth, Pro Growth and Bootcamp, and each has its own profit target, daily limit, maximum loss, scaling plan and payout cycle. This page puts those numbers side by side from the official pages, with the date they were checked, and shows what they mean on an account. It is for traders comparing the programs before a paid evaluation; it is not investment advice and not a promise that any evaluation can be passed.

The complete rules, the account sizes and the current prices of each program are on The5ers official pages.

The High Stakes page also has a Classic tab, where the Step 1 target is 8%; the other rules in the table are the same, while prices and account limits differ. The leverage row shows the forex figure, the highest of each program: indices, metals, commodities and crypto have lower leverage.

The5ers programs explained

High Stakes is the two-step evaluation. Each step has a profit target and a minimum of profitable days, with no time limit, and the same daily and maximum loss limits stay in place after the evaluation. A profitable day is not a trading day: it is a day whose closed trades made a minimum share of the initial balance set by the FAQ, so trading on a day does not by itself count toward the minimum.

Hyper Growth is the one-step program (the page calls it Growth, the FAQ Hyper Growth). It has no minimum of trading days, and its daily rule is a pause, not a loss limit: when equity drops to the pause level, open trades are closed and the account is disabled until the next day, but it stays open. Reaching the target doubles the account at every milestone.

Pro Growth is on the same page. It is a one-step evaluation with a real daily loss limit and a minimum of profitable days; the FAQ on its scaling plan states that it uses a one-step evaluation rather than instant funding without an assessment. The FAQ on the number of accounts sets the cap: max 4 accounts, one of each size ($5K, $10K, $20K and $50K); an older general FAQ still gives a lower number.

Bootcamp names each plan by its funded size; the three steps run on smaller balances ($20K plan: $5,000/$10,000/$15,000; $100K plan: $25,000/$50,000/$75,000; $250K plan: $100,000/$150,000/$200,000). The fee is paid in two parts, an entry fee and the remainder only on reaching the funded stage, and there is no daily limit during the steps.

The Terms describe the evaluation as a simulated environment, and The5ers states that it is not regulated: in its FAQ it says it is not a financial institution and does not provide financial services. NatureLaw Research takes part in The5ers affiliate program; this is the relationship the disclosure at the top of the page refers to. Taking part does not mean that The5ers has reviewed or endorsed this page.

The5ers drawdown rules: what the numbers mean on an account

Two rules decide whether an account stays open: the daily limit and the maximum loss. The examples use an account of 100, so they work for any size.

The5ers High Stakes (New) rules in numbers: 2-step evaluation, profit target 10% in Step 1 and 5% in Step 2, daily loss limit 5% on the higher of day-start balance or equity, maximum loss 10% static, 3 profitable days per step, no time limit, profit split 80% up to 100%, payouts every 14 days, leverage up to 1:100; EAs, news trading and copy trading allowed with conditions, weekend holding allowed. Loss limits shown for the smaller account sizes.

The daily limit is taken from the higher of balance and equity

On High Stakes the daily loss limit is 5% of the higher of day-start balance or equity, at the MT5 server time. Take a day that starts with a closed balance of 100 and an open trade 2 in profit, so equity is 102. The limit is taken from 102, which puts it at 5.1 and the level at 96.9: the account is closed if equity goes below 96.9 during the day, even though the closed balance never went under 100. If the open trade were 2 in loss instead, the limit would be taken from the balance, 100, and the level would be 95. Open profit at the start of the day raises the base of the limit; it does not add room.

Pro Growth works the same way with 3%: in the first example the level is 98.94, and reaching it ends the account. On Hyper Growth and on the funded Bootcamp account the same 3% is a pause: at 98.94 the open trades are closed and trading reopens the next day, with the account still open. The tighter limits of the two largest High Stakes sizes (note under the table) move every level closer.

The maximum loss is static

The maximum loss is measured from the initial balance and does not move up with profits. With 10% on High Stakes, an account that starts at 100 is closed if equity goes below 90, wherever the balance has been since. The level is 94 on Hyper Growth and Pro Growth (6%) and 95 in the Bootcamp steps (5%); the program table gives separate values for the funded account: profit target 5% per level, Max Loss 4%, Daily Pause 3%, profit share up to 100%.

A static level has a practical consequence: profit kept in the account widens the distance to it, and a payout narrows it again, because the payout lowers the balance while the level stays where it was. On High Stakes, an account at 108 has 18 of room above 90; after a payout that brings it back to 102, the room is 12.

The5ers scaling plan and payout rules

On High Stakes, payouts come every 14 days, counted from the start of the funded account, and the cycle restarts each time the account is scaled. The same section of the program page also has a sentence about requesting payouts after consecutive profitable days regardless of the growth target: with two wordings on one page, the current text on The5ers site prevails. The split grows with the account, along the scaling table: 80% up to $150,000, 85% at $175,000-$200,000, 90% at $250,000-$300,000, 100% plus a fixed payout from $350,000.

Flow chart of The5ers High Stakes in five steps: Step 1 target with at least 3 profitable days and no time limit; Step 2 with a lower target and the same loss limits; simulated funded stage with the first payout 14 days after it starts; a payout every 2 weeks with all trades closed; each further growth target with 3 profitable days scales the account and restarts the payout cycle.

Part of the High Stakes fee comes back at three points: pass Step 1, 10% of the fee as Hub Credit; pass Step 2, 20% as Hub Credit; funded stage, 70% refund added to the funded account equity, withdrawable with the first payout once profit is at least $150 and the account has been active 14 days. The 70% applies only to the part paid with external funds, not Hub Credit. Hub credits are non-withdrawable. The Hyper Growth and Bootcamp fees are not refundable.

The other programs scale and split as follows.

  • Hyper Growth. The scaling FAQ states that ‘The profit split starts at 50% and scales to 100%’ (50%/50% during the evaluation for $5K-$20K, 75%/25% once funded, 80%-100% from $640,000). The account doubles at every milestone.
  • Pro Growth. The program page says ‘Your account will scale up upon meeting each 10% target’ (table up to $500,000), and the split follows the Pro Growth scaling table: 75%/25% up to $300,000, 80%/20% at $350,000, 80%-100% from $400,000.
  • Bootcamp. The program page says ‘Your account will scale up upon meeting each 5% target’ (table up to $4M), and the scaling FAQ states that ‘The profit split starts at 50% and scales to 100%’ (scaling table: 50/50 at the start, 75/25, 80/20 at $2M, 100/0 from $2.5M).

For every program, the withdrawals FAQ sets the mechanics: First withdrawal 14 days after the funded account is activated, then every 2 weeks from the last approved withdrawal (timer resets on scaling); minimum profit $150; Rise, crypto (max $1,500 per withdrawal) and bank transfer each with a 3.5% commission (bank: plus receiving-bank fees), or Hub Credits without commission. All open trades must be closed before a payout request.

The5ers trading rules: allowed and not allowed

  • Expert advisors: allowed with conditions, the same in every program. Any EA is allowed as long as it does not copy other people’s signals, tick-scalp, or perform latency, reverse or hedge arbitrage, high-frequency trading or use emulators; the trader must own the EA source code; stop-losses must be visible (no ‘stealth mode’). The prohibited trading practices page also bans EAs that scalp during rollover and third-party EAs whose trades other traders also have open.
  • News trading on High Stakes: Holding open trades over the news is allowed; executing orders from 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after high-impact news is prohibited (Forex Factory, server time). Profits made in that window are deducted and do not count toward the target; losses stay. The rule applies when a pending order is triggered, not when it was placed.
  • News trading on Hyper Growth, Pro Growth and Bootcamp: allowed, except bracketing strategies around news and the other practices the Terms exclude.
  • Weekend holding: allowed in all four programs; indices held over the weekend carry a high swap.
  • Copy trading: copying trades between accounts of the same trader is allowed (on Hyper Growth up to a cap on total managed capital, on Bootcamp only if the accounts use different strategies); copying or coordinating with other traders is a prohibited practice.

Rules that can end an account or cut a payout

  • Loss limits. The daily loss on High Stakes and Pro Growth and the maximum loss in every program end the account (examples above); the daily pause does not.
  • Prohibited practices. The list includes arbitrage, high-frequency and tick scalping, bracketing around high-impact news, account sharing, trade coordination with other traders, and position sizes inconsistent with typical activity. Abuse leads to termination, with no refund or profit and a permanent ban.
  • Inactivity. High Stakes: 30 consecutive days for evaluation accounts (from registration day), 60 consecutive days for funded accounts. Hyper Growth: Accounts inactive for more than 30 consecutive days expire. Bootcamp: Accounts without activity for more than 30 consecutive days will be closed.
  • Consistency at payout time. The FAQ says ‘Depending on your account type or region, the consistency percentage may be different’ (e.g. 30% or 50%). The best trading day cannot exceed that share of total profits when requesting a payout or scale-up; the page does not say which programs use it. It does not fail the account.

Where to start

The rules and prices for each program are on the The5ers official site. Platforms depend on the region: MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView outside the US, TradingView only for US residents. On fees, the Terms say that the evaluation fee is non-refundable once trading starts. With no trading activity and no breach: full monetary refund within 5 days of purchase; after 5 days, refund in Hub Credit only (Latin American local payment methods: Hub Credit only).

To join, you must be at least 18 years of age (or legal age in your jurisdiction, if higher), a retail trader, not resident in a Forbidden Territory. The Terms list as Forbidden Territories, including but not limited to: Afghanistan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cuba, Congo Republic, Crimea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Palestinian Territory, Papua New Guinea, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Yemen. No discount code is listed on this page.

FAQ

What are The5ers rules for High Stakes?

A two-step evaluation with a 10% target in Step 1 and 5% in Step 2, at least 3 profitable days per step, no time limit, a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum loss on the sizes up to $25,000; the two largest sizes have tighter limits (note under the table).

Is The5ers daily drawdown based on balance or equity?

On both: the base is the higher of the two at the start of the day. High Stakes and Pro Growth take it at MT5 server time; the daily pause of Hyper Growth and the funded Bootcamp uses the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 GMT+3. An open profit at the start of the day raises the base.

Is The5ers drawdown static or trailing?

Static in all four programs: the maximum loss is measured from the initial balance and does not trail the highest balance.

Does The5ers allow news trading?

Yes, with limits. High Stakes prohibits executing orders in a window around high-impact news and deducts the profits made in it; the other programs exclude bracketing strategies around news.

How does The5ers scaling plan work?

Each program scales the account when a growth target is reached, along its own table, and the split rises with the balance (section above).

What are The5ers payout rules?

Payouts come every 14 days on High Stakes and every 2 weeks on the other programs, counted from the start of the funded account, with all trades closed and at least the minimum profit; the withdrawals FAQ quoted above has the methods and commissions.

Is Hyper Growth instant funding?

No. Hyper Growth and Pro Growth are one-step evaluations: the funded stage comes only after the Level 1 or Step 1 target is reached. The Pro Growth FAQ says so in plain words.

What are The5ers Bootcamp rules?

Three steps with a 6% target each, a 5% static maximum loss and no daily limit during the steps, then a funded account with a daily pause and tighter maximum loss, and a fee paid in two parts.
